Thank you for your interest in our department. Chest Department is working with T.B. Clinic and providing best medical care to coming patients from within the district Vehari as well as from out of district. Our aim is to be recognized as a symbol of wellness, to the patient’s care and aspire to provide distinctive medical care and state of art facilities with the collaborative effort of our professionally competent staff delivering an assurance of being in safe hands and be a free of cost medical care provider that serves one and all. This department also have state of the art Gene Xpert machine for PCR tests. Chest department provides the necessary support and care for acutely unwell patients. Patients with asthma and conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are treated in this department. Investigation is tailored towards the symptoms and signs. A proper and detailed history looking for the occupational exposures, and for signs of conditions listed above is the first and probably the most important part of the workup in patients with interstitial lung disease. Pulmonary function tests usually show a restrictive defect with decreased diffusion capacity (DLCO). A lung biopsy is required if the clinical history and imaging are not clearly suggestive of a specific diagnosis or malignancy cannot otherwise be ruled out. In cases where a lung biopsy is indicated, a trans-bronchial biopsy is usually unhelpful, and a surgical lung biopsy is often required.

- To serve the humanity in control of chest diseases other than TB
- To create awareness among the communities about TB & other chest diseases
