Tehsil Burewala is the biggest tehsil of District Vehari comprised of Population over one million. THQ Hospital Burewala is the only Secondary Level Healthcare Facility for the people here. The workload of THQ is more then most of the DHQ Hospitals of Punjab as it third highest in whole Punjab in terms of OPD, Emeregency, indoor, and number of Surgeries.The Sanctioned strength of THQ Hospital Burewala is of 82 Beds only but we are providing Services of over 125 Beds. An extension of 90 Beds is under construction since 2011 and expected to complete this year.THQ Burewala was established as 20 Beded Civil Hospital in 1976 and later upgraded to 60 Beded THQ Hospital in 1983. Currently this Health Facility is providing Services of 40000+ OPD patients, 20000+ Emergency patients and 2000+ Indoor patients.
